The Service office staff are responsible for co-ordinating all service activities including commissioning, service contracts, call-outs and spares. The office is fully computerised and the engineers’ programmes are organised from the office. For new installations and new customers, detailed quotations are produced. For existing service customers, renewal quotes are sent out before existing contracts expire. The aim of the co-ordinators is to provide a friendly and efficient response to all service customers.
In addition to our clean air and containment products and turnkey projects, we offer additional customer support in a wide variety of ways.
Service and maintenance
We offer a number of comprehensive after sales servicing options, including call-outs, with countrywide coverage. All servicing is carried out by highly trained engineers.
Spare parts and consumables
We carry a large stock of spares and consumables for our standard products in our Haslingden factory and can deliver most items ex-stock.
Relocation and refurbishment
We offer a full cabinet removal service, which can include anything from safe disposal to refurbishing and recommissioning.
We are pleased to receive and respond to technical queries on our products, technology, standards, guidelines or any other technical matter.
Installation and commissioning
Our quotations for product supply include prices for delivering, installing and commissioning as appropriate.
Many customers require full DQ, IQ, OQ and PQ for their projects and we pride ourselves on being able to provide and work to the necessary documentation, from URS right through to life-cycle re-qualification.
We can provide regulatory advice ourselves in most instances. However, where more comprehensive advice is required, we have access to external expert consultants.
Training on operation, user maintenance and basic safety, including biological safety, is normally provided at installation.
Detailed training for customers’ engineering staff on maintenance and testing can also be provided if requested.
Further training on GMP, validation, standards and guidelines can be arranged. Such training is supplemented where necessary by experts who are qualified in their respective fields.
